JAAHA Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:
Frequently Asked Questions
about Member Subscriptions

  1. Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends, or is use limited solely to me?

You will create your own username and password when you activate your subscription. You are the only one licensed to use this password.

  2. What if I forget my password?

Click here to have a new password emailed to you.

  3. Why should I get a member subscription to JAAHA online?

    AAHA members have access to:
Tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, document delivery, PDFs, links to Medline and GenBank, future tables of contents, interjournal links to other HighWire Press journals, and the advantage of having password access to JAAHA online from any computer connected to the Internet.
[Ordering Procedure] [Cost] [ AAHA Membership ]

Without a subscription you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full-text searching (without full-text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.

  4. How can I tell if my institution has subscribed? How do I get my institution to subscribe?

If your institution has a subscription, it will be able to activate online use of the journal. In so doing, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.

  5. Will I still be able to get the paper version? And for how long?

JAAHA became an online-only publication in December 2003; the paper version is no longer available. Printer-friendly versions of articles are available to AAHA members and subscribers in PDF format.

  6. Who is eligible for a member subscription?

All AAHA members receive member subscriptions to JAAHA.

  7. How can I access JAAHA Online if I am not an AAHA member and I don't have access through an institutional subscription?

You may wish to apply for AAHA membership, or you may wish to purchase an individual (non-member) subscription, which provides full access to the Journal. Without a subscription, you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full-text searching (without full-text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.

  8. How do I become a member of AAHA?

Information about AAHA membership is available at www.aahanet.org.
